OXYGEN SCAVENGER

500-OX is a 70% by weight solution of catalyzed ammonium bisulfite.  This product gives excellent protection from oxygen corrosion to all metal surfaces it contacts.

For brines, use 5 gallons of 500-OX per 100 barrels of fluid.  Maintain 100 ppm excess sulphite in circulating systems.  Treatment levels in circulating systems will vary and concentration should be monitored often.

500-OX is available in 5 gallon pails and 55 gallon poly drums.  Use caution when handling.  Avoid breathing vapor and contact with skin and eyes.  If eye contact occurs, flush with water and contact physician.  

Store in tightly closed containers between 40-120°F.
